Research On The Cellphone Addiction Of Advanced Vocational College Freshmen: Current Situation And Psychological Causes

This study used mobile phones addiction scale to investigate the mobilephone dependence of freshmen in vocational college. Campus is a newenvironment for vocational college students to develop healthy ego andpersonality. In order to analyze the psychological causes of mobile phonedependence of freshmen in vocational college, this study adopted themethod of empirical research from a variety of subjective and objectiveaspects to discuss coping style, loneliness, sense of social support and theexchange of fear and other psychological factors that affect freshmen’smobile phone dependence in Guizhou vocational college, so as to helpthose freshmen successfully complete their education, and provide thefundamental basis for their campus life. Under the conditions of this study,following results were obtained:(1) The mobile phone dependence of freshmen in Guizhou vocationalcollege is affected by many variables, girls’ mobile phone dependence issignificantly higher than boys; the mobile phone dependence of freshmenfrom city is significantly higher than freshmen from towns and rural areas;the better the Freshmen’s family economic situation, the higherpossibility they got mobile phone dependence; and freshmen who spoiledby their parents have higher mobile phone dependence tendency.(2) The mobile phone dependence of freshmen in love were significantlyhigher than those single freshmen; the more excellent freshmen in study， the lower possibility they got mobile phone dependence，and so it is withthe learning atmosphere; mobile phone dependence of freshmen varies indifferent majors.(3) The mobile phone dependence of freshmen in vocational college inGuizhou Province is significantly correlated with their coping style:problem-solving coping style can positively predicted their mobile phonedependence; blame, retreat, fantasy and rationalization coping style cannegatively predicted their mobile phone dependence.(4) Loneliness can significantly predict the mobile phone dependence offreshmen in vocational college in Guizhou Province.(5) The role of social support relies on the Guizhou province has forecastFreshmen phone: objective support can significantly predict the mobilephone dependence of freshmen in vocational college.(6) Communication apprehension is one of the most importantfactors which affecting the mobile phone dependence of freshmen invocational college, and communication apprehension could significantlypredict the mobile phone dependence of freshmen in vocational college.
