With the popularity of the mobile phone,the mobile phone has become one of the technological tools that have the biggest market share.However,the convenience it brought with people is not less than the harm.Because the mobile phone overuse has variously affected the study,work and daily life of the people,it would be practically valuable to conduct the study of phenomenon.The previous study revealed the mobile phone dependence,individual social ability and loneliness experience of the offspring are different along with the various parenting styles.Some scholars pointed out that the social support and loneliness played a intermediary role between the parenting styles and mobile phone dependence.Moreover,the social support also played a intermediary role between the parenting styles and loneliness,which indicated the four variants are closely related.However,what's on earth the relationship among the parenting styles,mobile phone dependence,social support and loneliness like?Previously,there were few studies connecting the four variants.So this study will put the four variants together in order to explore the effect of the parenting styles on the mobile phone dependence and the intermediary role of the social support and loneliness between the parenting styles on the mobile phone dependence.Selecting 397 college students of colleges and universities in Hunan province as the subjects and MPATS,s-EMBU-C,SSRS and UCLA as research tools,we conducted this research by questionnaires.The results were as follows.(1)The parenting style of parental refusal and maternal over-protect could directly affect the mobile phone dependence(The direct effect is 0.28 and 0.26)or indirectly affect that by two intermediary variants of social support and loneliness(The indirect effect is 0.158 and 0.151).This intermediary model consists of three intermediary pathways including social support,loneliness and common action of the social support and loneliness(The effect sizes are 19.6%,10.3%and 6.2%;20.0%,11.7%and 5.1%).(2)Among the three intermediaries functioning between The parenting style of parental refusal and maternal over-protect and mobile phone dependence,the variant of social support come first(The effect sizes are 19.6%and 20.0%).The following conclusions are achieved by results analysis:(1)The parenting styles,social support and loneliness are important factors that influence the mobile phone dependence.In particular,the more serious the parental refusal and maternal over-protect are,the higher the mobile phone dependence is.(2)The more serious the parental refusal and maternal over-protect are,the fewer the social supports are,which would lead to higher mobile phone dependence.(3)Individual loneliness experience will increase along with the parental refusal and maternal over-protect,which could contribute to the higher mobile phone dependence.(4)The more serious the parental refusal and maternal over-protect are,the fewer social supports are,which will increase the loneliness experience.In order to escape from the bad moods,the subjects would depend on the mobile phone more.
