With the ever-deepening of reform and opening up, the demand of foreignlanguage learners in China is expanding, especially the demand of competitivepractical talents. However, most of schools in China have focused language educationon theories but lacked practice training, and students could hardly know how tointerpret effectively on site and find their shortcomings. Therefore， researches onthose problems, skills and countermeasures in interpretation are still meaningful.Solar Decathlon is an award-winning program sponsored by US Department ofEnergy, aimed at promoting collaboration in the solar industry and to facilitateinnovation and adoption of solar energy and energy-efficiency technologies. It is thefirst time for SD to come to Asia, so the translation and interpretation on it have verydeep and innovative meaning. Under the guidance of related theories, and with somemetaphors, the author of the thesis, from different perspectives, specifically andvisualizedly analyzes the problems and countermeasures of every step of the realsimulation interpretation of Chinese to English part of the opening ceremony of SolarDecathlon China2013in order to find the proper and effective measures and methodsin the whole simulated process as well as to get some useful results and advice thatcould be used extendedly in the following interpretations for foreign languagelearners.
