Mo Yan is the the only Chinese who won the Nobel Prize for literature writer, hisworks are always fanciful, and constantly bring readers surprise. Fresh life to thosewho are unbridled, multi-tone jangling of maze-like narrative style and the"high-density Township in Northeast China" without exception, are labeled as "MoYan" label."Mo Yan’s novels integrate reality and fantasy, historical and socialperspectives together. Mo Yan also blends magic realism with folk tales, historical andcontemporary society. The world he created reminds people of the fusion of workswritten by both William Faulkner and Marquez, while at the same time lets peoplefind a starting point in traditional Chinese literature and oral literature." As a writerwith open consciousness, Mo successfully draws on and intergrates the soul mysteryof magic realism into national culture as well as national psychology. The decayedand bustling village in North land, varies shape of life in the village in shape, andenduring stories in life are full of humanities care and art of beauty with author’sseemingly trivial and bland language. This article, from three angles: localizationwriting within traditional cultural perspective, magic realism under the influence ofLatin America literature, and world meaning created by the mixture of Oriental andWestern culture, describes how Mo Yan how combine local resources as Chinesetraditional literature with Western world literature elements as Latin America magicrealism. Therefore, Mo builds unique beauty and different tensions of his novelsunder both Western and Oriental culture perspectives.
