Vocabulary teaching has played an important role in Chinese teaching, and alsothe teaching methods have been the focus of vocabulary teaching. After observing andlearning vocabulary teaching research, there are three schools teaching vocabulary:word-based teaching method, the character-based teaching method, and morphemeteaching pedagogy.I believe that teaching morpheme pedagogy as a new kind of teaching, whichfollows the Chinese true distinguished feature, should get its due attention. On thebasis of the expounded morpheme teaching theory, and teaching in the practicalapplication of morpheme teaching pedagogy using. The investigation of Chineseteachers and students by questionnaires and interviews and the data obtained by theauthor of the teaching morpheme pedagogy is objective, and then the author analyzethe data get from the questionnaires. The author proposes to implement therecommendations for teaching morpheme findings. The thesis is divided into:Chapter one, consists mainly related research studies and the outline of thispaper.Chapter two, the theoretical basis, introduce the theory of the three schools ofvocabulary teaching and some related theory of teaching morpheme pedagogy.Chapter three, is a key part of the paper and contains the surveys andinvestigations the author designed about the using of teaching morpheme pedagogyand analysis of the results.Chapter four is the author’s analysis of the whole survey data, the authorsummarize the implementation of morpheme in the actual teaching pedagogy.Chapter five, the conclusion part, summarizes the full text and views of thepaper, and points out the lack of research, as well as prospects for future research.
