Fengshui is one of the chinese cultural treasure, in ancient time the site selection andconstruction were under this theory system instruction. Ningbo Baoguo Temple was first built inHan dynasty,now the oldest existing building is the main temple hall,it was built in Song dynasty,A.D.1013. The hall is a built case in the book yingzaofashi,it is a very valuable material inChina’s ancient building history.Also,it is the only wooden architecture that existing a thousandyears in Jiangnan region.This region is rainy, wet and typhoon-lashed,these conditions are notsuitable for wooden architecture.what is more,there are four mysteries cant be solved till now.Millennium Baoguo Temple hall is a true case of feng shui culture.Trying to from theperspective of Feng Shui, put the hall in a particular geographical environment,combine thetraditional feng shui theory and modern technology, to show the feng shui culture of the hall,research Baoguo Temple building siting environmental effects of feng shui. feng shui environmentand its preservation to reveal the intrinsic correlation millennium.This paper is a bold attempt thatChinese feng shui to scientific.The main content of this paper includes three aspects:First, Feng Shui is a geography, planning, architecture, ecology combination of integrateddisciplines. From traditional Chinese feng shui theory expounded the basic meaning of thetheoretical system and scientific content. Then research Baoguo Temple siting, layout, buildingstructure, interior decoration and other cultural aspects of feng shui, feng shui Baoguo Temple sitein line with the classic "four animal" geomorphic pattern mode, the monastery from the interiorlayout to follow the "the harmony between nature and human beings "ideas and" yin and yangbalance "concept, the Basilica of architectural form and create a French exhibit profound traditionalculture meaning.Second, through field investigation, field sampling, real-time monitoring of the large hall andother research tools, get a access to a large number of temperature, humidity, TSP, wind speed andother basic data, combined with micro-climate research methods, demonstrated the BaoguoTemple hall in which its four mystery and geographical environment intrinsically linked.
