The Tiba Research Of Yang Shoujing

Yang Shoujing is a world-famous scholars of the Later Qing dynasty who has a wide knowledge, he been very diligent in doing research and quite prolific throughout his whole life. The field he dived into extends vastly and achieved remarkable success, such as the history and geography, the study of inscriptions on ancient bronzes and stone tablets edition bibliography calligraphy, collection of books of various discipline. The study of the above disciplines of Yang Shoujing has also born abundant fruit. This paper generalized and analyzed the weak link of the researches about Yang Shoujing, that is, Tiba.At the beginning of this paper, the upbringing and family background of Yang Shoujing is presented generally to offer the people a rough introduction. Then the first part followed to sort and classify the collected Tiba of Yang Shoujing. It is discovered that the majority of those Tiba are writing for inscriptions on ancient bronzes and stone tablets, calligraphy and books are less.The second part analyzes the Tiba of Yang Shoujing line by line and extracts the contents of the similar category from the original Tiba. Those Tiba are integrated and analyzed according to different types of Tiba like introductory Tiba, investigative Tiba and critic Tiba.The third part defines the characteristics of Yang Shoujing’ sTiba, that is, the contents are extensive and the majority of those Tiba are writing for inscriptions on ancient bronzes and stone tablets; the research resorts to vast knowledge; having the courage to leave the question open; the text is concise and the remark is appropriate.The forth part researches the academic thinking reflected from the Tiba of Yang Shoujing and the positive influences of those thinking on the academic society. Yang Shoujing paid great attention to preserve precious historical data. As long as he got the ability, Yang Shoujing would inscribe the historical data. If someone else came across a good book, yang would advise him to copy it to benefit the posterity. On the aspect of lecturing the later scholars, Yang’ Tiba contained a lot of studyinging methods worth people’s learning. Besides, because of Yang’s Tiba especially the excellent remarks, the communication and acceptance degree of the objects of what those Tiba are writing for got enhanced, which to great extent makes people cherish more about those valuable inscription books, and in turn promotes the protection of those historical data.
