On the era of the Anti-Japan War period was the development of public education in our country, but in ChongQing as an ordinary city, school education, though a considerable development, public education was just beginning, whether scale of education, education institutions, education facilities and teachers, and so on various aspects compared with other developed provinces and cities was relatively backward.Especially the outbreak of the war have moved to ChongQing, ChongQing has a series of favorable conditions for large-scale development of public education. First of all, ChongQing in the central position of the Anti-Japan War period led to public education work. Secondly, the national government in policy and funding guaranteed the work of public education. In addition, the public education workers and the public to the tireless efforts of educators, and a large number of social enthusiasts to advocate and support, were also the external driving force of the development of public education in Chongqing. From the teaching institution public education centers, libraries, schools of various levels, various social groups within a certain range actively carried out public education career.ChongQing during the Anti-Japan War in the joint efforts of public education had obtained certain achievements.
