Nowadays a lot of people around the world want to learn Chinese Language and it will not be an exception for the people in Malaysia too where we have friendly relationship with China. Contrary to the current situation where most Malaysians do not have deep understanding about the Chinese Traditional Festivals in China, this research and study used four main traditional festivals---Chinese New Year, Qing Ming, Dumpling Festivals and Mid-Autumn Festivals as the objects of studies. First, brief introduction on these four festivals was analysis through Literature Research, the Questionnaire and Case study. On this basis of the analysis, it includes the similarities and differences between the four major traditional Festivals and the Festivals of the Malaysian Chinese as well as the influence on the Malays and the Indians ethnics in Malaysia. Then, the reasons that cause the custom changes in the festivals are from the point of view of the political and economic side and the religious and ethnics differences of the both countries. Lastly, based on the study on the traditional Chinese Festivals as a carrier, it makes a profound analysis on teaching and learning process against the Malaysian Chinese, Malaysian Indians and Malays. Through learning and teaching process, it hopes that Malaysians will have basic understanding on the Chinese Traditional Festivals in China by learning Chinese Language. It will not only avoid the cross-cultural conflicts and it will promote the friendly relationship between the two countries.
