Comparison Of Traditional Festival Culture And Customs Between China And Vietnam And Teaching Research

As two countries bounded on each other,China and Vietnam both belong to the Eastern cultural system.Chinese culture and Vietnamese culture has a closely related from thousands of years ago.Traditional festivals are mirrors reflecting people's lives and national culture.Although the traditional festivals of Vietnam originated in China,while absorbing and inheriting the traditional Chinese festival culture,they also merged with their own national characteristics to form a unique festival culture.A comparative study of traditional Chinese and Vietnamese festivals can effectively help Chinese and Vietnamese nationals to understand the differences between the two cultures,and also reduce cultural conflicts caused by cultural differences by teaching Chinese as a foreign language,at the same time,it helps Vietnamese Chinese learners to better understand and learn Chinese culture.This paper takes the traditional festival culture of China and Vietnam as the research object,analyzes the differences between the three traditional festivals of the two countries by means of comparative analysis,and investigates the Chinese traditional festival culture acquisition by Chinese learners in Vietnam,and puts forward teaching suggestions.The basic content is as follows:The first chapter explains the basic situation of traditional Chinese and Vietnamese festivals.Firstly,the related concepts of traditional festivals and festival customs are defined,their characteristics are summarized,and then the main content of the festival is examined to classify traditional festivals.Introduced the composition of traditional festivals in China and Vietnam,and found out the traditional festivals of China and Vietnam.The second chapter compares the cultural customs of the three traditional festivals between China and Vietnam.Find out the commonalities and differences between the traditional festival cultures of the two countries.From then on,the differences between Chinese and Vietnamese cultural customs were analyzed and the reasons for the details were identified:the characteristics of national culture,religious beliefs and the influence of Western culture.The third chapter conducts questionnaire surveys and individual interviews with 120 Vietnamese Chinese learners.It finds the characteristics and weak links of Vietnamese students in the process of Chinese festival culture learning,and analyzes and summarizes the importance of Chinese traditional festival culture in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Consequently,propose suggestions on the preparation of teaching materials,teaching methods,and training of Chinese teachers.In the process of Chinese teaching,we can only improve the communicative competence of language by mastering the unique cultural background and cultural connotation behind the language,effectively avoiding communicative conflicts and collunication failures.
