A Research On Cultural Heritage Tourism Development-

The world cultural heritage is the precious heritage of human civilization, is irreplaceable, non-renewable resources. For the United Nations educational, scientific and cultural organization(UNESCO), the original purpose of a heritage convention is to protect and rescue endangered culture. But practice proves that the success of the application for World Heritage boost the tourism development of heritage sites, especially in our country is more typical, such as the Forbidden City in Beijing, Shaanxi Qin Shihuang’s mausoleum, old lijiang town, the Potala Palace, Dunhuang mogao grottoes, Pingyao ancient city, etc. in China, relative to the UNESCO protection purpose, in order to protect and develop as a common goal, in order to achieve the win-win situation of protection in the development and development in the protection. And tourism is in the process acts as the means, or even the only important means. Dunhuang mogao grottoes has been hailed as the world art treasure house because of its long build history, construction scale, the large number of murals and beautiful statues shape, the intact and the extensive and profound art, is a rare cultural treasures in human and spiritual wealth. It was listed in our country the first batch of world cultural heritage by the UNESCO and the national key cultural relics protection site, its tourism and opening were also the first in our country, and for more than30years to develop continuously, has formed its own unique mode of protection and development.In this paper, from the perspective of cultural heritage tourism development, on the basis of the theory and practice research on the heritage protection and development at home and abroad, Dunhuang grottoes on the world cultural heritage tourism embodiment of cultural value, cultural heritage protection and development pattern, the evaluation of the development and the existing problems are analyzed and discussed, and based on the study of the Mogao grottoes tourism development present situation, from the top of the management system design, management organization, market operation mode, tourism products, tourism services and heritage protection etc., put forward the idea of cultural heritage tourism development and the general model.
