With continuous development of cooperation between China and the world, more and more Chinese products have spread all over the world. Under this circumstance, the international publicity translation of enterprise is becoming important increasingly. How to translate the international communication documents which attract foreign potential customers has become a task which worth watching and researching.The report is based on the translation of PRODUCT BROCHURES OF YANKUANG DONGHUA Co., Ltd, which is translated by the author during the summer internship. The brochures include not only scientific translation of products but also international publicity translation of the enterprise. In this report, according to the German Functionalist Translation Theory, the author analyzes the text type and finishes this report on the basis of translation standard and strategies. This report is divided into six parts:the first part indicates an introduction of this case; the second part focuses on analyzing the feature of text language; the third part determines translation strategies; the forth part is task preparation, which includes foundation of glossary, sentences processing of enterprise publicity and usage of parallel text; the fifth part details analyzing of this case, which includes pretreatment and application of translation techniques, such as the transformation of sentence pattern and lexical category, extension of words as well as searching parallel texts; in the last part, the author makes a conclusion of the whole report and finds out shortcomings.
