The current study is aiming to answer the questions relating to problems of the relationship between scientificity and revolutionary of Marxism, as well as the demarcation problem of the theory of Marx and Engels. During the past decades, the Humanities and Social Science fields of Marxism have attracted a lot of attention of the academia. The following questions need to be answered: Could the Materialism Dialectics, especially the Natural Dialectics, also be disseminated in meaningful ways after the death of Marx and Engels? Will it cause echo from society and academics? In the early20th century, J.B.S. Haldane, a famous British biologist, had successfully applied Marxist Material Dialectics into biology study. More than a century ago, the publications of Darwin’s "On the Origin of Species" and Marx’s "Preface to A Contribution to the Critique of Political Economy" had caused tremendous responses from academia. Meanwhile, the two articles also caused conjecture by society and biologists:Could Marxist methods are effective on biology research? In order to figure out Haldane’s acceptance and application of Material Dialectics, I visited University of Exeter (UK) and brought back almost all references and information relating to the Haldane. According to this literature information, Haldane’s Marxism thoughts can be divided into three stages: a: Idealism period (before the1930s); b: Transition period (1930-1937) and c: Materialism period (after1937).It is innovative that the current study of Marxist Materialism Dialectics is from a unique perspective-the stand of a natural scientist. Firstly, this study seriously discussed the transformation process of Haldane’s from Non-Marxist to Marxist. Secondly, this study examined how Haldane applied Materialism Dialectics into Biology by presenting a case study in natural science, which differs from the previous traditional Humanities and Social Science methods. Results of the study suggest that Marxism scientificity should not be neglected by the decisive significance of its humanistic spirit lying in the fact of Haldane’s application. Moreover, the success of Marx’s theory in the natural science is valuable and worth doing research for.
