Research On Huizong’ Palace Poems

In general speaking,Palace Poems originated from the Tang Dynasty, developed till the Northern Song Dynasty,and became quite a fashionable poetic style in Qing Dynasty.As an emperor, Huizong have composed quite a number of Palace Poems,which,came down to today,collected in xuanhe yuzhi gongci,includes296of these poems. Based on the overall material of the Palace Poems between the7th and13th century,this paper attemps to look into its history and characteristics, and the general picture of the composition of Palace Poems in Huizong’time. Under this premise,the thesis inquires into the documentary aspect of xuanhe yuzhi gongci,under the research of ancient contents and the main libraries all over the country,to have a relatively clear mind of the formation and spread of xuanhe yuzhi gongci,and suggest that although other ministers’poems may have mixed into xuanhe yuzhi gongci,some poems may be classified as Huizong’ works on purpose during the conpilation in later ages too,we can not totally repudiate Huizong’s copyright of xuanhe yuzhi gongci.Then,the thesis will focus on the content and artistic features of xuanhe yuzhi gongci,from the poems about femal、scenery、arrogancy and other aspets.The last chapter is about Palace Poems in the followings generations.
