Diachronic Study Of The News Headlines In ShenBao

Based on the theory of linguistics, this paper mainly takes the news headlines of the ShenBao as the research object. By using the the methods of analysis and quantity statistics, it aims at the research on the form, content and syntactic of the news headlines, and to explore the change of news headlines. This paper is divided into five chapters:Introduction, the form of the news headlines, analysis of the content of the news headlines, syntax analysis of the title and conclusion.The first chapter is Introduction. Firstly, in this chapter we briefly introduced the news headlines which is the research object of the paper, and discussed its function and value in the news, pointed out the achievements and shortcomings in the current research. On this basis, the purpose, ideas of this research are raised. Specifically speaking, with the analysis of the headlines of ShenBao as a sample,this paper studies the diachronic changes of the headlines from the linguistic perspective.The second chapter is the analysis in the form of the news headlines. First of all, according to the title words, the ShenBao will be divided into three periods. Second, we will pay attention to the analysis and comparison of the three times about the title words and stylistic features and changes. The analysis showed that in news headlines the words increase gradually, and gradually rich in the format. Finally, we will made a brief summary of the reasons for this change.The third chapter is the content analysis of the headline. This chapter mainly based on the six factors of news, examining usage of the six elements in the headlines (5w,1h), found that the news headline contained more elements in the diachronic development, and the message is more and more perfect.The fourth chapter is the syntactic analysis of the title. This chapter based on ontology language, according to the existing research results, using statistical method to compare the syntactic structure of the headlines in different times. We find that the headlines as the core of news content summary, subject-predicate structure has been in the first place. Followed by predicate-object structure. At the first, news headlines in structure type is very rich, but at the later stage of ShenBao, the headlines’ structure becomes very few.The fifth chapter is conclusion. First of all, we summarize this paper, and then put forward the insufficient in this research and the future research direction.
