Objective:(1) learn the elements of risks and protections of the family education through the study of the children in mobile families;(2) develop a questionnaire about the expectation for family education in the perspective of mobile children and test its reliability and validity;(3) analysis the characteristics of the mobile children’s expectation for family education, and see its relationship with the children’s mental health;(4) give advices to the mobile family group to lead to more effective family education through the research.Methods:(1) use grounded theory to research the essay written by children from mobile family;(2) develop a questionnaire about the expectation for family education in the perspective of mobile children based on qualitative research and interview and test its reliability and validity using the data of265mobile children from Shanghai;(3) analysis the characteristics of the mobile children’s expectation for family education and its relationship with the children’s mental health using the data of106mobile children from Shanghai with ANOVA, correlation, regression and other statistical methods.Conclusion:(1) violence, ignorance and our-of-control emotions of parents are the risk elements of family education;(2) guidance, company and positive life attitude are the protective elements of family education;(3) protective factors of parents will support children and make it a positive experience when children under pressure;(4) the family education expectation questionnaire is reliable and valid;(5) mobile children’s expectation for family education is significantly related to their mental health;(6) if children hate one of their family member, their mental health will be affected mediated by lower family education expectations;(7) singletons expect their father to pay attention to their growth.
