There has been a lot of researches on psychological capital springing up since the conceptifrst raised. But researches on team psychological capital are few and far, which is the bestreflection of the psychological capital in the team level. As an important study content of teampsychological capital, the designing of the measurement tools of team psychological capital,however, has not been given enough attention.Based on the relevant theories about Psychological Capital at home and abroad, this studytook grassroots worker teams as subjects, did some investigations on their team psychologicalcapital, and developed the Team Psychological Capital Questionnaire. We explored the status andcharacteristics of the grassroots worker teams’ psychological capital, and the relationship betweenteam psychological capital and individual psychological capital, and team performance. It madesome preliminary findings. The study investigated a total of262grassroots worker, belonging to58worker teams, using statistical sotfware SPSS18.0and LIEREL8.5to do data analysis, gained thefollowing results:1.Team Psychological Capital contains four dimensions: team effectiveness, team hope, teamtrust, team cooperation.2.The team psychological capital and its dimensions are generally above average, in whicht’eam effectiveness’ score is the highest, and team trusts score is the lowest, the general state ofgrassroots worker Teams’ psychological capital is positive.3.The team psychological capital and its dimensions differ in some demographic variables:team size,team types and the sex ratio of the teams.4.Psychological capital (including its dimensions) are positively correlated with teamperformance and psychological capital, and can predict the team performance.This study extends psychological capital research from individual level to team level,explores the status of grassroots worker teams’ psychological capital and discusses about the’results. This study will help enterprises know of their grassroots worker teams team psychologicalcapital better, providing references for their team buildings. Also the questionnaire developed inthis study could be a measurement of the grassroots worker teams’ team psychological capital forenterprises. What’s more, the study enriches the psychological capital’s theory and research, it hastheoretical and practical significance.
