This article mainly comparative and analysis fairy tales text by Edith Nesbit and ZhengYuanjie, by investigate the differences exhibited in their articles, then search historical andcultural roots of this difference and harvest corresponding revelation which in order to explorepossible paths of creation and innovation in the future of Chinese children’s literature.There are four chapters in this article. The first chapter is mainly discussed the topics based,research status and contents about this article.The second chapter select Edith Nesbit and Zheng Yuanjie’s more representative of fairy talesto comparative analysis. From the works of the hero’s character, the degree of fantasy andaesthetic characteristics were discussed three aspects of difference between the two authors’articles, further discussion as a representative of the British and Chinese fairy tale world.The third chapter from the differences between the Chinese and British view on children,explore the differences between the two countries causes of children’s literature. To be exploreddeeper differences combing through the concept of children, interpretation of Chinese Confucianculture and national psychology bottom of the Western cultural tradition, respectively, on theimpact of children’s literature produced by the two countries. No matter children or children’sliterature concept, all reflect the traditional Chinese culture deeply rooted in enlightenmentcomplex and humanism in western cultureBy comparing texts and cultural analysis, in the fourth chapter, will introduced children’sliterature and culture will be of great significance in terms of physical and mental developmentof children creatively, call for children’s literature creators and educators should truly respectchildren, create more outstanding works of children’s literature.
