Cooperative learning for teaching Chinese, both a profound teaching theory but also a specific teaching method. It emphasizes mutual exchanges and cooperation among learners, allows the establishment of a new type of mutual cooperation between the learners’ relationship, in order to achieve the purpose of promoting learner learning. Cooperative learning is inseparable from two key factors:"study interdependence" and "personal responsibility".The cooperative learning applied to foreign language teaching practice, it can effectively improve teaching effectiveness, active use of teaching resources, helps learners play potential, cultivate the spirit of cooperation partners, improve the overall quality of the learner. Therefore, implementation of cooperative learning in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, is necessary and feasible. This article details the theoretical basis of cooperative learning and teaching practice, explores the methods and strategies in the teaching as a foreign language. I hope the majority of teachers and students to provide some references.The thesis is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction, introduces the main reason for this article like the topic, research status, research ideas and research methods.The second chapter studies reviewed, introduces the theoretical basis of the theory of cooperative learning and the development of Chinese speaking ability.The third chapter is teaching cases, the main author describes two cases of teaching practice period.The fourth chapter contains surveys and interviews, mainly students and a teacher questionnaire based interviews.The fifth chapter is to build effective learning classroom, illustrates the limitations of cooperative learning in oral Chinese teaching and learn how to build effective cooperation classroom strategies.The sixth chapter is the conclusion, summarizes the meaning and structure of this article, this paper presents the study inadequate and prospects for the future.
