The cooperative learning model is one of the most effective teaching methodsin the21st century, and applies to multi-disciplinary and multi-kinds’ teachingactivities, causing widespread concern of scholars and research, but, the study forcooperative learning in the field of Chinese as a foreign language is rare.In this paper, we have combined cooperative learning model with the oralChinese teaching, and on the basis of previous research, we use theoretical knowledgeto conduct a feasibility analysis and concluded that cooperative learning model canovercome the fear of students while in the oral classroom and enhance students’ senseof context, to exercise students’ actual ability to communicate, so that students have apositive emotions in the classroom, change “let me to learn” to “I want to study”, toimprove the efficiency of the classroom, and it also can content the students’ will toshow themselves. Therefore, the cooperative learning model in the oral Chinese classis effective.To analyze the characteristics of today’s oral Chinese teaching and teachingmaterials is not difficult to found that it’s always focuses on the characteristics ofcommunication and educational materials to the conversation-based. The use ofcooperative learning model can also be the perfect embodiment. On this basis, wesummarize some commonly used cooperative learning strategies in teaching Chineseas a foreign language, to be divided in accordance with the Chinese languageproficiency of students, to achieve the best teaching. Cooperative learning model is ascientific teaching model, it is operating must be scientific and reasonable, be able tocarry out its function. In the present study, we elaborated some errors and problemswe have in the cooperative learning model and proposed solution advice. Theory mustbe come to reality, a good teaching method, must be show in the class in order to prove the value of its existence. So that, the author connect with the experience ofherself taught in Thailand for the second-year student in Chiangrai RajabhatUniversity and have a series of experiments of the cooperative learning.Ultimately, we concluded that cooperative learning model can be combinedwith oral Chinese class to enhance students’ sense of context, and create a positiveatmosphere in the classroom, to improve students’ oral communication ability. Inorder for the cooperative learning model combines better with the class of Chinese asa foreign language, we also give some of the problems we have in the experiments,and proposed effective solutions.
