As a newly emerging profession, interpreting enjoys a short history of development,but has been used widely in the international arena and communication. Differentcountries, societies and nationalities find it imperative to have far more channels ofcommunication among each other. In this case, interpreting has already becomeunprecedentedly important. Moreover, interpreting is a very difficult task full ofchallenges, which requires the qualified performance of the interpreter in the field oflistening and understanding of the source language within a short time. Interpreting is atransformation process from source language to target language. In the transformationprocess, the time is limited. Thus it is required that interpreters do many things at thesame time. Hence, for both professional interpreters and interpreting students,interpreting is a very tough task.In the process of interpreting practice, on top of accent, cultural and customdifferences among the speaker, interpreter and audiences as well, the interpreter cannever evade many problems during the interpreting process. This report selects aninterpreting for the meeting of Brilliance Caetano Bus Manufacturing Technology(Dalian) Co., Ltd as the case to indicate the barriers in the interpreting process and givethe relevant solutions. The report also highlights some examples to explain the use of therelevant theories of interpreting in the interpreting practice and then summarizes theexperiences.This thesis consists of an introduction, the main body and a conclusion. Its maincontents are as follows:The first part is introduction, which mainly makes a brief summary of the purposeand importance of interpreting practice.The second part is the main body, which is made up of four chapters:Chapter One introduces the preparation of the interpreting practice, including thepreparation of the interpreting for the meeting and the backgrounds of the company andthe meeting.Chapter Two tells the process of the interpreting, analyzes the barriers in the process of the interpreting and gives the specific solutions.Chapter Three introduces the relevant theories of interpreting and makes the caseanalysis.Chapter Four summarizes the experience of the interpreting.The last part is conclusion, which makes a summary to the whole report.
