Purpose: In the case of completely random compares the affective priming and semanticpriming by setting different SOA to discuss which was more fast and which was morestrength.Method: Using E-prime sofeware,Undergraduate and graduate students were asked tocompleted experment task in three kinds(SOA=50ms,250ms,500ms)of conditon.Using theSPSS17.0and Excel software analyze statistically.Result: The dependent wariable was the accuracy rate:(1) SOA=50ms,The interaction ofpicture valence of priming stimuli and consistency of prime and target was significant, F(1,31)=5.758,P<0.05。In negative condition, consistent condition was more correct thaninconsistent condition. Secongdly, The interaction of picture valence of priming stimuli andconsistency of prime and target, type of target was significant F(1,31)=5.359,P<0.05。Afurther Analysis showed: negative consistent of semantic priming was found promotioneffect; negative inconsistent of semantic priming was found obstacle effect.(2) SOA=250ms,there was a marginally masignificant interacion among type of target and picture valence ofpriming stimuli and consistency of prime and target F(1,31)=3.594, p=0.067.(3)SOA=500ms,the interaction of picture valence of priming stimuli and consistency of primeand target was significant F(1,31)=22.201,p<0.01.negative consistency condition has highaccuracy rate than negative inconsitency. Secondly, The interaction of picture valence ofpriming stimuli and consistency of prime and target, type of target was significant F(1,31)=11.277,P<0.01.A further Analysis showed: Positive-consistent and negative-consistentcondition, there was a significant promotion effect of emotion prime. While, Positive-inconsistent and negative-inconsistent emotions prime appeared significant reverse effect. The dependent variable was the recaction time:(1) SOA=50ms,a significant maineffect of consistency, consistency of prime and target more faster than inconsistency of primeand target, F=(1,31), p <0.05.Secondly, the interaction of picture valence of priming stimuliand type target was significant F=(1,31),p<0.05,in affective priming condition, negativemore faster than positive.(2) SOA=250ms, a significant main effect of picture valence of priming stimuli, F(1,31)=19.473,p<0.01,positive faster than negative.Secondly, consistencyof prime and target has a marginally masignificant main effect,F(1,31)=8.855,P=0.050,consistency of prime and target more faster than inconsistency of prime and target. At last, significant interaction was found among picture valence of priming stimuli and picture genderof priming stimuli and type of target.(3) SOA=500ms, picture gender of priming stimuli andconsistency of prime and target of interaction effect was marginally significant, F(1,31)=4.037, p=0.053,male of prime more fast than female of prime. Secondly, picture gender ofpriming stmuli, consistency of prime and target and type of target of interaction effect wassignificant, F(1,31)=10.607,P<0.05. A further Analysis showed: male-consistent andmale-inconsistent semantic prime appeared significant reverse effect. female-consistentcondition,we found a significant promotion effect of semantic prime. while female–inconsistent condition, there was a significant reserve effect of semantic prime.Conclusion:(1) SOA can affect affective priming and semantic priming.(2)In completely random conditions, Processing rates and Cognitive bias ofaffective priming and semantic priming has not final conclusion in automatedprocessing mode and controlled processing mode.(3) In completely random conditions, automated processing mode and controlledprocessing mode may product reverse prime.
