Today’s society belongs to an image production, communication and information explosion era. The world’s eyes have never been so busy and tired. Firstly is because the development of visual performance technologies stimulating the desire audiences wanting to watch and visualise. Secondly is due to the media diversity and also offering the audience more possibilities and feasibility. Based on the above two points, the audience should feel that visual message’s requirements are fastidious. Especially since it is the twenty-first century, all aspects of human life are reflected in the images of vital information appeared to computers and mobile phones for the carrier from newspapers, magazines, television, radio as the main carrier of the traditional media to spread now new media, digital media technology areas involved expanding, showing a new style of visual culture, followed by a two-dimensional image of the graphic design information more widely used.Today, the image serves as an important carrier of information dissemination, graphic design or even exist in human social life, the image covers everything a human can experience with the visual expression which involves in different areas such as paintings, designs, photography, and other decorations. Promotion of the development of visual communication information of the images and graphic design is one of the important forms of visual communication, so the development of graphic design also carries the information of the image, making it rapid increasing development and diversification. Firstly, clear images and concepts of graphic designs relying on the history of graphic design as a major development in the world context, graphic design for different periods of development in each of the functional information in graphical applications in graphic design, value, and other advantages of a comparative analysis, elaborate and important role in the development of the information generated by the image of the graphic design. In addition, the arrival of the era of the formation of a new images of the dissemination of ideas, the development of information technology to promote the image of the form, with the rapid development of digital technology, network technology and multimedia technology, the image is easily identifiable, publicity and popularity of visual images compared with text and other features has a more significant advantage, and then gradually become the main carrier of information, yet at the same information graphically has many advantages, but also caused some social problems, such as flooding the network with lots of false images, vulgar content infringement against these problems led to the author’s review of the subject, examine and research, and in-depth research of how the proper application of graphic design without the negative impact of graphical information for the network caused by conducted to examine and explore effective solutions. Finally, based on the status of Graphic Communication issues new media context of the above analysis, the author describes the traditional media and digital media in contrast possess unshakable advantage.The rapid development of modern digital technology, the image-based visual communication with a shock of morphological change occurs; the information graphically advanced the technology in the contemporary context and under the multi-cultural environment to flourish the traditional language of text-based dissemination of information has long been unable to form therewith comparable ability. This summary combines principles of design, history in the world of knowledge plane, image communication theory, sociology, etc., are discussed in graphic design images of the development of information, status and trends, the problems raised in the new media context of network information graphically brought and explore their solutions, only some of the points in this article I hope to provide some reference and guidance for graphic designers.
