From the mid-twentieth century, the ecological environment has become worse and worse. Ecological deterioration becomes a sword hanging over head of human-beings. In order to solve this problem, we need not only to rely on technology advances, but also need to we need not only to. Among them, many scholars are turning to the ancient Chinese philosophy to find solutions, especially turning to ecological wisdom of pre-Qin period.Eco-aesthetic and traditional aesthetic are relative. It is based on the thought of ecological aesthetic, which in response to the global ecological crisis. With the aid of ecological knowledge, it inspires the imagination and emotion, and it is a new aesthetic which aims to overcome the human aesthetic preferences. When we review the relationship between man and nature in pre-Qin period, ecological aesthetic has been found in the activities between human and the nature. In the pre-Qin period, thought of four seasons is an outstanding view on nature, and became the main clue of this period. The evolution of seasons is the fundamental property and law in universe naturally. The Master said, the four seasons evolve naturally and the world thrives! Its evolution often manifests the change of astrology and weather, prosperity and withers of biological. In this period, thought of four seasons become basis of and guideline for exploring various nature biology and evolution of four seasons (focuses on the biology that closely associated with human beings), as well as the way to deal with the relationship between man and nature.Agricultural production, as the main way of producing in this period, was closely related to climate changes. Human beings interpreted that there existed close relationship between climate changes and life cycle of animals and plants, and grasped relationship between growth of the plants and animals and the season or environment, from the aspects of natural rhythm deeply and concretely, using these lessons to guide agricultural production. These are summarized as traditional ecological knowledge. This traditional ecological knowledge provides the basis for scholars to build their own theory. Although scholars did not have consciously ecological view in their comments, they were equipped with ecological wisdom that they looked the entire world is an organic whole. For example, Lao tze advocated that "the Tao gave birth to all things", Chuang tzu contended that "All things equal", Confucius and Mencius incorporated the whole world in their own ethics "concentric circles" with "benevolence" as the core value, etc. However, they all put human and nature in equal position to explore coexistence problem. The pre-Qin period was the embryonic period of ecological aesthetics. It based on the ecological ethics and respected the natural nature of all things. What’s more, it paid attention to get pleasure from the interaction with nature, such as "The benevolent are delighted in mountains, the wise are delighted in the water". On the basis of knowing a lot of ecological knowledge, people are able to connect the internal relation with nature, and feel beauty in heaven and earth. In addition, people in this period started to roam, consciously or unconsciously. This could strengthen people for the understanding of nature. Also, it can also help people be integrated into world of all things, influencing the aesthetic experience. In the pre-Qin period, people respected nature, viewed them as independent existence, having intrinsic value. Through knowledge of ecology, they conformed to changes in the four seasons. Combined with deep ecological ethics, fully being integrated into the nature, feeling magic of life and strength, accessing physical and mental pleasure and pleasure, are traditional ecological aesthetic values.
