| Since the middle of last century,with the acceleration of industrialization,China’s ecological problems have become increasingly prominent.The ecological crisis has seriously threatened people’s survival and the further development of society.In this background,ecological aesthetics came into being.Ecological aesthetics is different from the traditional aesthetic theory.It opposes the idea of "Anthropocentrism" and advocates a kind of "ecological holism" aesthetic thought of harmonious coexistence between man and nature.Its emergence promotes the transformation of human society from the industrial civilization era to the ecological civilization era,which is of great significance to the progress of the whole human society.Ecological aesthetics is a new theoretical form formed by the organic combination of ecology and aesthetics.It mainly studies the whole ecosystem including human beings and tries to establish a harmonious and unified aesthetic relationship between human beings and nature.Chinese ecological aesthetics is developed on the basis of ancient Chinese ecological thought,western ecological philosophy theory and Marxist ecological thought.This paper summarizes the whole development process of Chinese ecological aesthetics from its origin to today.The germination of Chinese ecological aesthetics began in 1994,and it has shown its scientific and advanced nature just after its appearance,and has attracted the attention of academia.After the 21 st century,Chinese ecological aesthetics has entered a stage of vigorous development,during which a large number of academic achievements have been produced.These academic contributions have basically completed the theoretical construction of Chinese ecological aesthetics,fully exerted the role of Chinese traditional ecological wisdom,and also tried to establish the discourse system of Chinese ecological aesthetics in the global academic community,So that Chinese ecological aesthetics can go global.However,there are still some problems in the development of Chinese ecological aesthetics.This paper mainly discusses three important problems,namely,the legitimacy of ecological aesthetics,the relationship between ecological aesthetics and science and technology,and the ethical issues related to ecological aesthetics.This paper gives answers to three questions.It holds that ecological aesthetics is legal in China.It can coexist with modern science and technology and promote each other.Its related ethical issues have also been vigorously defended.The article ends with a positive and optimistic outlook on the future development of Chinese ecological aesthetics,and thinks that the future development of ecological aesthetics should adhere to the construction of ecological civilization in China,and establish a new ecological aesthetics.On this basis,the development of ecological aesthetics should be combined with the education of our country,from campus education to the whole society.The pursuit of ecological aesthetics should be to build a theoretical system of ecological aesthetics with Chinese characteristics,to reasonably transform the traditional ecological wisdom of China,and to combine it with the national conditions and social reality of contemporary China,and finally to the world. |
