Analysis Of The Characters About Lu Yanzhou’s Novels

Lu Yanzhou is an outstanding novelist and dramatist in Contemporary China. In his career which has lasted nearly half a century, he provided a number of excellent literary works and distinctive characters to readers. Lu Yanzhou has the momentous significance and value in Chinese contemporary literature circle, especially in Anhui province. Accordingly, many scholars have achieved some results in Lu Yanzhou’s literary works. The main topic of this paper is that how to find new perspectives and new questions on the basis of previous researches to reach reasonable conclusion and valuable efforts. Hereby, this paper can be divided into the following sections:Introduction:The first part clears the research direction in this paper through the analysis and summary of the previous research results on Lu Yanzhou’s works. The second part is the introduction of Lu Yanzhou’s life and creation. To analyze historical implications in his works by being familiar with the author’s growing environment and significant events in his life.The first chapter:By analyzing the image of intellectuals in Lu Yanzhou’s novels, to see the choice of life path and experiences for different characters through different experiences of the Chinese intellectuals in different time periods from the revolutionary exploration period to the period of the socialist construction after founding of the new China.The second chapter:To discusses the shape of female images in Lu Yanzhou’s novels. The main point in this chapter is to elaborate the two factors,"politics" and "love", have different effects on female characters, and different life path of different female character under the special background of the twentieth century in China.The third chapter:To expound the characters’shaping methods in the Lu Yanzhou’s novels in the base of analysis of the characters in the former two chapters. The purpose in this chapter is to summarize the characters in his novels by considering his humanitarian heart and realism creating method.Conclusion:To summary the main body of the paper and to point out the research significance in this paper, which is as a contemporary Chinese writer, Lu Yanzhou has had a profound impact on the later literary creation as well as the literary research.
