The book "shuo wen jie zi" of Xu Shen from eastern Han Dynasty is our country’sprecious collection, It not only analyzes the form, explains the meaning, but also in thehistory of recorded vivid culture, it is in the history of Chinese philology landmark sign.Everybody knows that Chinese characters are the carriers of culture, especially forhistory and culture of information being passed on, Chinese characters hasincomparable value,"Shuo wen jie zi" by XuShen has preserved rich ancient charactersmaterial, in the history of the Chinese characters research has had a huge impact, todayin the Chinese culture research also has an important reference value."Shuo wen jie zi"has a history of one thousand years, because of the characters of the remarkableachievements, naturally it became the special literature discipline.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is introduction,it consists of three elements: First,"shuo wen jie zi"and the female to radical characters of "shuo wen jie zi";Second, the research and thereviewed of the female to radical characters of "shuo wen jie zi";Third, thesignificance and the motivation of writing this article.The second part is around the arrangement of the female to radical characters of"shuo wen jie zi", classified the female to radical characters of "shuo wen jie zi",andcorrect the inappropriate place in the process of arrangement.The third part consists of three elements. First, compare the female to radicalcharacters of "shuo wen jie zi" with the modern meaning of that characters, examinethe development and change of the female to radical characters；Second，discuss itsmain explanation way；Third, compare the female to radical characters of "shuo wenjie zi" with the female to radical characters of “Modern Chinese dictionary”, examinethe situation of extinction and inheritance.The fourth part compares the pauses and punctuation of the four of the female toradical characters of "shuo wen jie zi" punctuation books (“shuo wen jie zi kaozheng”“shuo wen jie zi jiao jian”“shuo wen jie zi jin shi”“shuo wen jie zi jiao dingben”), explans the importance of using the punctuation correctly.The fifth part is from the female to radical characters of "shuo wen jie zi" ofreflect the ancient culture, respectively discuss that the female to radical charactersproduce which period, matriarchal society or patriarchal clan social, the female to radical characters reflect the ancient women’s status and ancient marriage system.
