Objective. In order to revise self-compassion questionnaire suited to China’s cultural characteristics, this paper has investigated the self-compassion features of high school students in Beijing and made analysis of the relationships between self-compassion and interpersonal trust&forgiveness traits, self-compassion and interpersonal trust&situational forgiveness, and also made educational suggestions. Methods. This paper has used the questionnaire method and experimental method. First of all, from two experiments of the number of participants respectively as135and319, the Self-compassion Scale was revised; then, by the questionnaire method, there were420urban and rural high school students under investigation so as to confirm the self-compassion features of urban and rural high school students in Beijing, and also the relationship between self-compassion and interpersonal trust&forgiveness traits; finally, according to the results of the questionnaire method, we selected30urban high school students of participants to be divided into groups from high to low, so as to make inspection of self-compassion and interpersonal trust&situational forgiveness in the experimental condition.Result. The researching results are as follows:(1) The revised High-school Students Scale achieved requirements of Psychometrics including three dimensions of Self-kindness, Openness to Mindfulness and Closed Indulge.(2) As high school students, self-compassion is at the lower-middle level, Self-kindness is the best, and Openness to Mindfulness is less, while the Closed Indulge is the worst.(3) Due to different levels of education in urban&rural areas and of fathers, self-compassion of high school students has shown significant difference.(4) Self-compassion level of the high school student can significantly predict his interpersonal trust level (generalized trust). The high self-compassion participant has a higher level of special interpersonal trust.(5) Self-compassion level of the high school student can significantly predict his trait forgiveness level. The high self-compassion participant has a better situational forgiveness, and with more forgiveness behaviors.(6) Interpersonal relationship types have significantly affect high school students of special trust, trust behavior, situational forgiveness, and forgiveness.(7) In the experiment, forgiveness reasons of high school students are conformed to its development stage. There are different forgiveness reasons in the high and low self-compassion group.(8) Generalized trust of high school students can significantly predict the trait forgiveness level.(9) Generalized trust has partly played the intermediary role in self-compassion and trait forgiveness.(10) The situational forgiveness of high self-compassion participant is not affected by trust, while the trust level of low self-compassion participant has influence on situational forgiveness, because the intensity varies of the relationship type.
