A Study On The Display Design Of Celebrities’ Former Residence Memorial Hall In Old Beijing Areas

This paper is mainly about the protection end display design method of celebrities’ former residence, a special personage memorial space. First of all, the author studied nine celebrities’former residence memorial halls in old Beijing areas, made comparison, analysis and summary based on four categories, and found out their similarity in architecture heritage display and particularity in indoor exhibition; the author probed into the display design methods and theories and applied theoretical analysis into design practice. Then, the author carried out a clear pectination on the three following aspects:the display design principle of the architecture protection and memorial hall, display design method, and the emotion expression in display design. Following the pectination, based on the premise of architecture heritage protection, the author systematically elaborated on how to comprehensively display the memorial hall and reflect the connotation of former residence culture. At last, the author further proved the realizability of theoretical study, and made supplements to display theory through practice feedbacks.
