The Research Of Wang Yi

In mid-late Dong han dynasty, whether politics, economy, culture orideology, are in a period of great changes. The internal and external changes are takingplace in Confucianism. The New Text Confucianism, Old Text Confucianism andcognitive science blend to a new academic style, affecting the way of thinking. And theliterature development has entered an important period of transmutation along with thedevelopment of Confucianism. It gradually awakens and is independent. The intellectualgroup, style and creation substantially increase. With the rising of lyric Fu, literature inthe mid Dong han is returning to the literary essence and goes on a lyrical way. Raisedin this special period, Wang Yi corrects and writes books and history; promotes sagesand punishes evils. He is an official, Confucian scholar and literary scholar. And he isdeeply influenced by the trend of history. That transmutation of Confucianism andliterary awakening deeply affects Wang Yi makes him an important typical significantfigure in the mid-late Dong han dynasty.This paper attempts to analyzes Wang Yi as a representative of late Eastern HanDynasty according to his works and life stories on the background of the ideology aswell as literation’s development of Eastern Han Dynasty.It is composed ofintroduction,main body and conclusion.Meanwhile,the main body is divined into threeparts.As for this research project,in the introduction I make a brief review about theresearch status and explain the reason of choosing it as well as meaning and researchmethods of it.The first place of main body elaborates Wang Yi’s life and works. At thesecond part, I study the feature of Wang Yi’s ideology and the affection it has sufferedon the background of the development Confucian classic of Eastern Han Dynasty. Thefinal part introduces the development of Eastern Han Dynasty’s literature, analysis thefeature of Wang Yi’s literary thought and the affection that he had suffered as will as the differences he had made.Then I draw a conclusion of Wang Yi’ works and thoughts’significance in the late Eastern Han Dynasty.
