The Study Of Yunnan Mongolia Katso Taboo Language

The Xingmeng Mongolia is the single ethnic communities of Mongolian in Yunnan province. The Xingmeng Mongolia commonly known as Katso. Katso language is a kind of nonverbal language owned by the Katso.On the basis of survey of the author did in the filed,the author a sescription of the Katso taboo from three representative aspects:taboo of kinterms,life phenomenon taboo,the rital taboo. This paper conclude what reflected from the taboo are some concepts:the pursuit of reliable in life; the sympathy to the dead,the patient, the disability; seeking elegant;cultural integration for avoiding the risk in life; the Katso has their feature in the aspect of color and number; all the taboo not only effected by their concepts, the influence of rules of culture also at work.Having a semantic analysis of the taboo, this paper have tried two ways: semantic expand and semantic narrowing. What expanded or narrowed is the range of the referred to. This paper also conclude that the Katso taboo has times and nationally. Avoiding the taboo has a function of adding affection, sometimes has playfull function to the man.In order to discuss the Katso taboo language deeply, the author had a taboo language contrast between Katso and Han nationality in Hexi, Yi nationality in Lishan. The author found that Katso taboo language and the Han taboo language,the Yi taboo language are many similarities in the above four aspects. For the reason, the common identity of human maybe a reason, however, the closely connection and cooperation in the same place bring the closely communication on economic, technology and the customs.
