Every people has its own specific taboo which is an inhibition(established by usage) about holy or dirty things.It is expressed as taboo language in human's daily life.China and Korea are two countries separated by a narrow strip of water both belong to the Confucian Culture Circle,so they get many similar folk cultures including taboo.In this paperâ… embody 560 representative Korean taboo sentences from written by Sungpei-Kim and 875 Chinese popular taboo sentences from written by Cheng Ren.On the basis of these 1435 taboo sentencesâ… comparatively analysis the similarity and differences between Chinese and Korean taboo languages on the aspects of folk consciousness, reasonable or not and meanings.The paper includes 5 chapters.Chapter 1 is introduction clarifying the research aim,research range and method etc.Chapter 2 is about the conceptions and category of Chinese and Korean taboo.Chapter 3 compares Chinese and Korean taboo from folk consciousness side specifically on taboo about Confucian thought,Man is superior to woman and Health & Hygiene thought.Chapter 4 analyzes the rationalities and irrationalities of Chinese and Korean taboo.Chapter 5 comparatively analyzes the deep meaning of Chinese and Korean taboo language.And it divides the taboo language into three parts which are taboo language about the partner,taboo language about philosophy of the plebeian and taboo language about action rules to compare specifically.On the whole China and Korea have many similarities on the aspect of taboo language and they also get their own characteristic thing separately.These can be the mirror and portraiture of habits of daily life of the two countries' people.There is a long way to the comparative researching of the taboo language between China and Korea.I hopes the paper can do some favor to the researching of Chinese and Korean taboo language.
