Background Independent College is relying on the ordinary undergraduate school educa-tion resources, use private mechanisms to operate undergraduate colleges, the traditional ordinary undergraduate school focus on the academic aspects to teach; independent college focus on the application of the profession. Compared with ordinary college students, college students have special problems such as poor learning independent basis, higher learning costs, lower social acceptance of students, easy to make the students a sense of loss. Psychological maturity assure students adapt to the environment, achievement motivation to reflect students to study hard to succeed enthusiasm, college students can apply their knowledge of social responsibility is an important criterion for the social services, the research of the three relationship is still relatively small.Objective Analysis on the characteristics of independent college students’ social responsibility, to explore the relationship between psychological maturity, achievement motivation and social responsibility. Provide theoretical support for further research to improve the independent college student social responsibility.Method By cluster random sampling method to select independent college students600as the research object, general undergraduates450as control group, using psychological maturity scale, Achievement Motivation Scale, social responsibility questionnaire as research tools, using SPSS19.0analyze the data.Result 1Independent college students social responsibility scores higher than the ordinary undergraduate students (t=-2.791, P<0.05).2Independent college female students social responsibility scores higher than the ordinary undergraduate students (t=-2.839, P<0.05), the medical specialty of independent college students scored higher than the ordinary undergraduate students (t=-2.089, P<0.05); college students’ social responsibility scores of grades have difference (F=4.682, P<0.05), in the sense of moral responsibility (F=5.400, P<0.05), the family responsibility (F=2.815, P<0.05), social developmental responsibility (F=6.332, P<0.001), peer responsibility (F=4.690, P<0.05) significantly.3There were correlations between independent college students psychological maturity and social responsibility, the correlation coefficient between0.152to0.252, the regression equation was significant (F=36.837, P<0.001), statistically significant psychological maturity on social responsibility predictor.4Independent college students’ achievement motivation scores higher than the ordinary undergraduate students, the relationship between achievement motivation and social responsibility, the regression equation was significant (F=42.286, P<0.001), statistically significant predictors of achievement motivation of social responsibility.Conclusion1Independent college students social responsibility than the ordinary undergraduate students; school for girls and the different levels of medical students social responsibility has certain effect; independent college students enrolled in different grades have certain influence on social responsibility.2The relationship between the independent college students psychological maturity, achievement motivation and social responsibility, psychological maturity and achievement motivation score to some extent can predict social responsibility status.
