Internet addiction has been officially included into the psychopathology system, it is similar to the universally accepted standards as a pathological condition which is known by the public in epidemiology. With the Internet users increasing year by year because of rapidly and unfetteredly using internet, Internet addiction groups are gradually becoming larger and larger. For the sake of providing positive guidance to prevent Internet addiction effectively for college administrators and students,we need have clear ideas about the driving factors and psychological mechanism of network addicted group in order to help college students grow up healthily in network environment.The study is divided into six chapters, the first chapter describes the background of the study, the purpose and significance of the topic as well as innovation, by introducing introduction to macro direction of this study have a general understanding. The second chapter belongs to literature review, the main concept of Internet addiction has been defined, an overview of the relevant theoretical models and internet addiction and other behavioral and brain mechanisms for the use of the relationship between students’network between motivation and achievement motivation and analyzed, as the theoretical basis of this study. Chapter III of the study subjects, research tools, research programs will be explained and proposed research hypotheses and construct the corresponding theoretical models. Internet use among college students, including interpersonal emotional motivation and access to information in two dimensions; internet addiction including time management, interpersonal and health problems, such as the core symptoms of Internet addiction and tolerance, compulsive Internet and Internet addiction quit breaking reactions and other related issues, four scores of Internet addiction and to score; achievement motivation, including the pursuit of success and avoid failure motive in two dimensions, the difference between the score achievement motivation score. The fourth chapter describes the analysis method of the present study to structural equation model as the main data processing method, and introduced the distribution of the sample, and the data obtained were analyzed mathematical statistics, and finally validate the overall model. The fifth chapter is the result of data analysis are discussed and analyzed and compared with previous studies for comparison. Chapter VI of the entire article based on research, according to the previous theoretical models and data analysis, the conclusions of this study and make recommendations for university administrators and college students. Meanwhile summarizes the limitations of the follow-up of possible research directions of this research and study.This paper probes into the relationship between the network using motivation, achievement motivation and Internet addiction. And it also discusses the effect that the network using motivation and achievement motivation make on Internet addiction. A total of450college students are investigated in Jingzhou, Datong and jiaxing city with questionnaires. In the end, I decide to choose three scales which respectively are "Chinese Internet Addiction Scale" compiled by Chen Shuhui a Taiwan scholar and revised by BaiYu and Fan Fumin from Tsinghua University in2005,"Achievement Motivation Scale" of Chinese version revised by Ye Renmin and compiled by Norway psychologist Gjesme and Nygard,"Achievement Motivation Scale" of Chinese version revised by Xu Mei and compiled by Weiser. This study obtains those conclusions ultimately by means of building structural equation model and Analysis relationship between Internet using motivation, achievement motivation and Internet addiction.(1) There is a significant difference between Internet using motivation, achievement motivation and Internet addiction in gender,.(2) Different groups of college students have different Internet using motivations and achievement motivations.(3) Internet using motivation (Social affective motive) are positively related to Internet addiction in each dimension and the total scores.(4) Achievement motivation to avoid failure and internet addiction showes a significant positive correlation in each dimension and the total scores. But the achievement motivation in scores and Internet addiction in all dimensions and total scores are significantly negative correlation.(5) The motivation of avoiding failure and social affective motive have significant impacts on network addiction.(6) Social affective motive affects Internet addiction through the motivation to avoid failure in all groups; while the motivation to avoid failure plays a full intermediary role in normal group; in the network addiction group, social affective motive affects the network addiction directly, not transferring by avoiding failure motivation.
