| Internet altruistic motivation refers to the wishes or needs droved by selfless to help others in the network environment.University students are the major groups of network use and the drivers of internet altruistic behavior.But the motivation behind internet altruistic behavior is not very clear and there are lacks of assessment tools for it.The research of internet altruistic motivation not only make the individual's internet altruistic behavior has a certain direction,but also maintain and strengthen the individual's internet altruistic behavior.So it is necessary to study the internet altruistic motivation.This dissertation tried to build the mental structure of college students' internet altruistic motivation,and then developed a questionnaire of internet altruistic motivation which fitted to college students,and made an empirical research on the impact of factors through questionnaires.As a consequence,our research had two tasks: one task was to form the internet altruistic motivation questionnaire of college students.The other task was to explore the relationship between college students' personality,empathy and internet altruistic motivation.Based on the above research,results show that:(1)According to the investigation and analysis of college students,the theoretical structure of college students' internet altruistic motivation had been put forward.Internet altruistic motivation of college students contained four factors: care altruism motivation,self-determination motivation,social identity motivation and self-growth motivation.(2)The consequence of Classical Test Theory demonstrated that the college students' internet altruistic motivation contained 24 items,the internet altruistic motivation of university students is a multi-division structure,and they are care altruism motivation,self-determination motivation,social identity motivation and self-growth motivation.(3)The Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the internet altruistic motivation questionnaire is0.93 and each division is from 0.86 to 0.88.The split-half coefficient for the questionnaire is 0.82 and the test-retest reliability for the questionnaire is 0.81.The correlation between each dimension and total scores are from 0.67 to 0.89,the fit index indicate the model is fine:?2/df=3.37,RMSEA=0.08,NFI=0.94,CFI=0.96,NNFI=0.95.The self-designed “college students' internet altruistic motivation questionnaire” has good reliability and validity;it can be used to do the survey as an effective measurement.(4)University students' internet altruistic motivation score is above the mean level(M=3.26,SD=0.65),it means that university students' internet altruism is positive in general.The result of significance test of difference showed that significant gender difference in social identity motivation(t=2.17,p<0.05),but there was not significant gender difference in total points(t=1.66,p>0.05),self-growth motivation(t=1.30,p>0.05),self-determination motivation(t=0.82,p>0.05)and care altruism motivation(t=0.87,p>0.05).The result of difference tests indicated that significant profession difference in self-growth motivation(t=2.81,p<0.01)and total points(t=2.03,p<0.05),but there was not significant profession difference in social identity motivation(t=1.47,p>0.05),self-determination motivation(t=1.12,p>0.05)and care altruism motivation(t=0.46,p>0.05).As a whole,sophomore got the highest points in internet altruistic motivation(M=3.37,SD=0.70)and junior got the lowest points in internet altruistic motivation(M=3.23,SD=0.61).Online time per week difference test results showed that there were significant difference in care altruism motivation(t=-2.80,p<0.01).(5)Structural Equation Model was used to test the relationship between university students' personality,empathy and internet altruistic motivation.The results of mediating test showed that,consciousness has obvious positive prediction on empathy(?=0.50,p<0.05),empathy has obvious positive prediction on internet altruistic motivation(?=0.23,p<0.05),but consciousness not has significant prediction on internet altruistic motivation(?=0.08,p>0.05),it indicated that empathy could fully mediate the relationship between consciousness and internet altruistic motivation,the mediation effect value were 11.5%.Neuroticism has obvious positive prediction on empathy(?=0.53,p<0.05),empathy has obvious positive prediction on internet altruistic motivation(?=0.23,p<0.05),but neuroticism not has significant prediction on internet altruistic motivation(?=0.08,p>0.05),it indicated that empathy could fully mediate the relationship between neuroticism and internet altruistic motivation,the mediation effect value were 12.2%. |
