A Study On The Psychological Adjectives Of Mo Yan 's Life And Death

This paper explored all the psychological adjectives in Mo Yan’s novel " Lifeand Death fatigue"by using modern linguistics theories and research methods.Firstly,the article conducted an exhaustive collection of psychological adjectives in "Life andDeath fatigue",we also had word form classification which showed the imbalance inthe distribution of syntax: Multi-syllable psychological adjectives dominant.Secondly, the paper classified psychological adjectives semantically by using thesemantic field theory, and the semantic distribution of psychological adjectivesindicated: positive, negative psychological adjectives has a larger distributionimbalance in distribution of both number and types, negative psychological dominant.Furthermore, the article also analyzes psychological adjectives grammatical function,summed up the frequency distribution of psychological adjectives served as syntacticconstituent is: predicate> adverbial> attribute> object> Subject>complement.Finally, we analyzed psychological adjectives in pragmatic and rhetoricpoint.
