Teacher talking is teachers impart knowledge of the language and the organization used when teachingin the classroom. In the foreign language classroom, the teacher talking is both the target language and themedium of instruction to transmit information, playing a very important role in the complete teachingprocess. Teacher talk is not only needed in classroom activities, but also in the student’s learning process tohelp them guide and participate in the discourse. Teacher talking is the main object, Chinese learnersimitate with exemplary role.The thesis, author see the classroom teacher talking as the research object and investigated two teachersabout sentence category in actual situations through classroom sound recordings, case analysis and otherforms of observation. Thus, two groups of teachers were investigating the use of the actual situation of eachsentence pattern, concluded: two groups use declarative sentences based; First group than the second groupusing interrogative ones, and use more "questions-eliminating-questions" quiz mode; The first group takea more tactful imperatives, more use of the second set force on imperatives; Two groups have a smallamount of use of exclamatory. In combination, we based on real data to explore how teachers combinedsentence category features, functions to promote good interaction between teachers and students. Based onthe information we known, Chinese teaching as a foreign language is still in the stage of "student-centered",which is a new teaching mode now. Some teachers have been realized this view, they encouraged thestudents to participate in the classroom and make a lot of use of the target language. However, many of theteachers with less experience still follow the traditional teaching mode to organize the classroom. Theyignored the participation of students and did not adjust their words according to the students’ reactions andneeds. As far as we know, Chinese teaching as a foreign language always bear the Chinese teachingcharacteristics. Therefore, author suggested that teachers should not only remain the conversational style ofdemocracy, but also guide the learners to improve the enthusiasm to communicate with one another in class.Increasing the investment in emotion and culture will help the teachers to build a comfortable languageenvironment. Data and conclusions in this thesis reflected the real situation of Chinese as a foreignlanguage class to some extent and this thesis will provide some reference for improving the teachingefficiency in the future.
