Didactics or teaching method is the summary and exploration of teachingpractice, which is guided by teaching theory. This research is based on SecondLanguage Didactics. And it takes Thailand Nakhon Ratchasima Chokchai Samakkeeschool’s senior students (class one to class nine of grade two and class nine of gradethree) as the research object. This study combined with the specific teaching practiceand many teaching methods to expound and prove. And it adopts various teachingmethods or didactics in Chinese pronunciation, vocabulary, sentence pattern andChinese characters research. The didactics include Grammar-Translation Method,Cognitive Approach, Direct Method, Situational Language method, AudiolingualMethod, Audio-Visual Method, Community Language Learning, The Silent Way,Total Physical Response, Suggestopedia, Communicative Approach, Game Methodand Reward Method. Through the research to compare and summarize whichdidactics can acquire better teaching effect. Then demonstrate the didactics’ feasibilitywhich used in primary teaching stage of teaching Chinese as a second language.By the comparison study of the second language didactics, to demonstrate thatsynthesize various teaching methods used in the primary stage of TCSL, the teachingeffect is more remarkable. But in the practice of teaching still cannot without thetraditional teaching method. Therefore, the teacher should realize the individualdifferences of teaching content and teaching object, then select the suitable didacticsor teaching method to use.
