Vocabulary teaching is an indispensable part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.At present,some scholars have proposed introducing games in vocabulary teaching.But there are still problems such as poor operability and limited scope of application in Chinese teacher for foreigners designing games for vocabulary.Therefore,it is of practical significance to investigate the application of game teaching method in vocabulary teaching in the primary stage of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in combination with practice.The author used her practice at Wuqiao Acrobatic School,mainly based on the syllabus,combined with the specific teaching content to design corresponding games,trying to introduce games in vocabulary teaching.This article mainly investigates the feasibility and necessity of game teaching method in the vocabulary teaching in the primary stage of teaching Chinese as a foreign language based on author's own practical experience,combined with questionnaire surveys,classroom observations,and teacher interviews.This article is mainly divided into five parts: The introduction part mainly discusses the significance and background of the selected subject,sorting out the current research status of vocabulary teaching and game teaching method,expounding the main research methods of this article.In the second chapter,the author mainly expounds the theoretical knowledge related to vocabulary teaching and game teaching method in the primary stage,mainly including the teaching task of vocabulary teaching in the primary stage of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,several specific traditional vocabulary teaching methods,pointing out the advantages and disadvantages of above-mentioned methods,the theoretical basis and teaching principles of game teaching method,etc.The third chapter mainly introduces the author's teaching experience in applying game teaching method to the vocabulary teaching in the primary stage during the internship in Wuqiao Acrobatic School.That is to say,in combination with teaching content,designing corresponding classroom games in accordance with four aspects: the shape,sound,meaning,and collocation of vocabulary.The fourthchapter mainly introduces the survey objects and analyzes the student questionnaires,teacher questionnaires and teacher interviews to demonstrate the feasibility and necessity of game teaching method.Through the analysis of student questionnaires,we can understand the students' basic attitudes and opinions on game teaching method.Through the analysis of teacher questionnaires and teacher interviews,we can further understand the teachers' understanding,the teaching effects and problems may arise during implementation process of game teaching method.The fifth chapter is to reflect on the application of game teaching method in the primary stage of vocabulary teaching in combination with author's own teaching practice and the survey results.
