By means of culturalconstruction in the underdeveloped areas, it can promote the economic development andimprove the backward production and living manners in the underdeveloped areas, continuethe cultural development path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, purify the socialmorality, raise people’s happiness and ensure the security of the underdeveloped areas.China boasts of a wide range of lands while also confronts with the reality of unevendevelopment of in culture and economy. The cultural construction in underdeveloped areasfocuses on the cultural construction in the Middle and West China. The thesis has come intoconclusions that achievements and problems occurred in the cultural construction of theunderdeveloped areas by means of analysis on the current situations of these areas andresearch methods of literature review, quantitative digital analysis and summarization.
