Research On Origins Of The Names Of Music Words In Kao Gong Ji

In the traditional Exegetics, Explanations of Things occupies a pivotal position, although once lag in modern times, from the beginning of the1990s, Explanations of Things re-enter to scholars’ field of vision, and draw their attentions gradually. Therefore, outstanding research achievements in Explanations of Things emerged in large numbers.As an important part of Explanations of Things, the origins of names have a lot of excellent achievements, however the study on the origins of names of music words needs to be strengthened.In this paper, we chose kao gong ji to do in-depth research. Kao Gong ji is a book of handicraft production technology and process, which includes the method of systematic cognates, Semantic analysis, Comprehensive search method and Explaining the traditional method of trial Kam. We mainly aim to analyze14musical words that have not been studied in this book one by one and to explore the Etymological meaning of each word, and pave the way for comprehensive and systematic study of musical explanations of things.
