There are two forms of human communication:one is the verbal communication that can beaccomplished by the linguistic performance;the other is nonverbal communication which can be completedby non-verbal behavior.In the communication process,the two components should coordinate each other toachieve the whole intercourse.TCSL classroom is a special process of communication,including twocommunicative behaviors mentioned above.But for years,people ignored the communicative function of thenon-verbal behavior in the classroom,with the result that the relative research is lagging behind in thefield.Based on the international research results and personal internship experiences,this paper is mainlyfocusing on the study of the use of nonverbal communication means in the TCFL.This paper can be divided into five chapters.The Chapter I is an introduction.Chapter II is the theoryanalysis about verbal and nonverbal,focusing on the basic nature of nonverbal communication.Chapter IIIgives a systematical analysis about the application skills of nonverbal communication means in the TCFLby the research methodology of classroom observation and combines the lecture experience,considering infour aspects—body language,deputy language,object language and environment language.Chapter IVpresents some suggestions for TCFL which can improve the teaching results effectively.The last part is theconclusion.
