Research On The Relationship Between Immigrant Children’s Alienation And Emotional Intelligence: Mediating Effect Of Friendship Quality

The sense of alienation is a kind of diffuse and negative state of mind. Which widely occursoccur at different ages. Adolescents who are alienated for a long time will result in maladaptive, cause harmto their physical and mental health. However, the migrant children for various reasons are more likely tofeel a sense of children. So examine the developmental characteristic of the immigrant children on the basisof review of previous studies. And explore the internal mechanism that emotional intelligence andfriendship quality influence the alienation of immigrant children. Research uses Adolescent AlienationScale, Adolescent Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire, Adolescent Friendship Quality Questionnaire andBasic Information Questionnaire made by the author of this paper to test four hundred of Zhengzhou andKaifeng middle school students in class. Conclusions as follows:First, the test results of research for independent samples of demographic characteristic variablesdemonstrate:(1) society alienation of immigrant children exists significant differences in the aspects of sexand parental education, but no significant differences in the aspects of age and family environment.(2)interpersonal alienation and environment alienation doesn’t exist significant differences in the aspects ofsex, age, parental education and family environment.Second, investigate the relationship of the sense of alienation of immigrant children, emotionalintelligence and friendship quality by regression analysis.The results show that:(1) Emotional intelligencehas significant negative influence on the sense of alienation of immigrant children.(2) Friendship qualityhas significant negative influence on the sense of alienation of immigrant children.(3) Friendship qualityhas partial Friendship can mediate partially the relationship between emotional intelligence and societyalienation role between emotional intelligence and society alienation, between emotional intelligence andinterpersonal alienation, but friendship quality has complete intermediary role between emotionalintelligence and environment alienation.
