This scientific thesis is a research on the basic theories. It focuses on specific art phenomenon underart discipline and mainly studies the rhetorical questions presented from the works of the new femininepainters in the period of the republic of China. The center of the article is to discuss the deep reasons offeminine rhetoric in the new female painter’s works during the period of the republic of China, strikingfeatures, expressions and the inspiration that those works have given to the contemporary feminine works.The factors that influence female artists not only include social and cultural factors, but also includethe impact of inherent natural gender. Physiological factors determining the nature of gender are usually notincluded in the focus of academic research because of culture. Therefore the practice that follows socialculture to explore the female creation and the results of researching psychology and life science bothinfluence the study of feminine rhetoric. The art creation in the same dimensions of the study will have itsrationality. Art is the tentacles of the times. Thus, the author of this thesis puts forward the definition offeminine rhetoric on the basis of politics, economy and cultural background as well as the characters ofwoman that are different from men. On the basis of these factors, the author conducts the analysis of thecharacters of feminine rhetoric in female painting during the period of the republic of China from theaspects of creative thinking, creative purpose, and style. Through the analysis from the perspective ofcreative thinking, this thesis holds that women’ paintings rarely jump out of "self life" affection, which hasa close relation with women’s emotion, narrative manner and intuition. Different from famine painters, toserve the society, the expression of history and emotion are the purpose of male painters’ creation. Butfeminine natural sex determines the common of the female painter’s creation style. Feminine works iscentered on expressing emotion,“small subject” and "little emotion". Everyone is a different part in thesociety with different family background, living experience and the influence of their teachers which makefemale painters present colorful personal characters. So from the surrounding environment and personal life,the author of this paper unfolds a discussion about the common characters of new female painters,meanwhile conducts a specific analysis of the differences among these works. Fang Jun bi,PanYuliang,CaiWeilian and Guan Zilan are the typical representatives of new feminine in the period of the republic of China. Through the analysis and the summary of the choice of theme of their works, the way of emotionalexpression and the character of the language, the author elaborates that the new feminine painter not onlyreflects the character of “I”, but also embodies the character of “we”. The research on the feminine rhetoricfrom the perspective of the artistic study achieves the height of the aesthetic. As the research on thefeminine rhetoric lags behind and the research angle is relatively single, the author puts forward severaladvices to the research on feminine art.This paper applies relative theories, such as the sociology, history, arts, psychology, biology science,the image study, literature study, inductive research, comparative study and so on. It is enclosed with therelated pictures and text materials to discuss the targeted theory. This paper involves the author’s ownthinking and explaination of the feminine rhetoric presented from the works of the new feminine paintersduring the republic of China. And the author unfolds a deep discussion about it.
