The Song of Youth, an autobiographical long novel, which is written by the Modern female writer Yang Muo, has ever attracted and influenced a generation deeply. The existing literature and limited voice always prefer to be classified as historical novels revolution, few people interpret the book from the perspective of female grown-up novel. It is not always successful, though some people mention it from this angle. The author thinks that this book reflected the heroine-Lin Jing's mental course of development and life experience in the special period. This thesis compares the Song of Youth with Charlotte Bronte's autobiographical novel-Jane Eyre, which is the masterpiece of female literature at the 20th century in Britain, and attempts to re-understand the book from the perspective of Lin Jing's development into feminist heroine, then dialyze the similarities and differences of female grown-up novels between China and Western countries.The full text outlined as follows:Chapter I, the introduction part, mainly concluding the concept of feminine literature and growth, then give the simple analysis to the characteristics of the growth of female fiction on modern China, and summarizes the status quo of comparative study on "Song of the Youth" and "Jane Eyre" in such context.Chapter II narrates lonely escape on the feminine growth road of Lin Daojing and Jane Eyre by depicting resistance to the distorted affection and selfish love.Chapter III focuses on women's trend after escaping by Lin Daojing and Jane Eyre. Lin Daojing went her way to the revolution while Jane Eyre in the rebel at the same time paradise reversion,finally trended to the harmonious unification of the body and soul.Thus analyzes the similarities and differences of Chinese and the West feminine growth novels from the value orientation.
