North Zhuang drama first appeared in the early Ming Dynasty.Afterthe long time history of evolution development, it has been a matureopera that is deeply loved by the Zhuang people in Northwest Guangxi.Under the impact of current modernization, North Zhuang drama withstrongly traditional as national culture is meeting enormous challenges.In2006,Zhuang drama was listed in the first batch of national intangiblecultural heritage protection list. Tianlin country’s government took thisas an opportunity and held North Zhuang drama festival every year inApril from2007. In this paper, I use the theory and knowledge of historyand anthropology, in order to strengthen the development process as wellas the previous Zhuang drama festival for the study and literature surveyand fieldwork using a combination of detailed reproduction of NorthZhuang drama history and detailed analysis of the evolution of thefestival and the underlying reasons. Through research, I believe that thefestival of drama heritage contributed to the development of Zhuangwhile generating some negative effects. In the process of the era, theArts Festival and the drama itself strong need to constantly adjust theirtimes, enhance the local Zhuang people’s cultural awareness andparticipation. Protection of traditional Zhuang drama art communityfoundation and the soil upon which the survival and development.
