The research on Zhuang School is an important part of humanities. There were many scholars who devoted themselves to this proposition from the book of Zhuang Zi published to now. The study on Zhuang School is not only to read it seriously, to analyze it and to dig out its profound connotation and value with the method of logical clue, but also to discover its academic developmental skeleton and characters with the way of historical clue. In addition, we should pay more attention to the connection between the development of Zhuang School and social background, social thoughts, the intelligentsia's moods and literary creation. Only in this way, can we explore the Zhuang School's contributions during the construction of humanities spirits and in the course of cultural accumulation. This dissertation's aim is to discuss the developmental panorama and the contrail of Zhuang School in the period of Wei-Jin Dynasty and the South-North Dynasty.The dissertation are composed of ten parts.They are the introduction, nine chapters and the remaining discussion. The introduction sums up the main thoughts of Zhuang school and introduces the development of Zhuang school in the period of the Pre-Qin Days and Han Dynasties as well. Zhuang School was prowling in the Pre-Qin Days and Han Dynasties. The intelligentsia gave their attention to Zhuang School owing to two points, one is academic dispute, the other is mind comfort.Knowing the content above could help us understand Zhuang school's thoughts deeply and master its development clue clearly.Chapter one inscribes the transformation of Zhuang School from absent treatment to receiving welcome in the period of Han Dynasties' Jian-an to San Guo Dynasties's Zheng-shi. However, the litterateur living in Jian-an period enlightened the Zhuang school's value with the angle view of life philosophy. Their romantic lives and quotation from Zhuang Zi, brought Zhuang School's bloom in the coming days. The appearance of metaphysics in Zheng- Shi period indicated the transformation of social thoughts. As a result, Zhuang School's development gained more chances.
