This study selected the Chinese phonetic standard of the pre-QinPeriod as the study subject. Relating the and phonology as the guide oftheories, and drawing lessons from previous phonology’s researchresults.From the two aspects of social factors and language ontology thataffecting the development of language. From the social factors, what aresearching the Chinese phonetic standard of the pre-Qin Period.Accordingto the characteristics of the per-Qin Period, the social factors are mainlyfrom the influence of the government behavior,the ideological debatesand cultural psychology as the breakthrough point. So that to achieve theinfluence of the Chines phonetic standard of the per-Qin Period from theanalysis of reading the historical materials. From the language ontology,what are searching the Chinese phonetic standard of standard of theper-Qin Period. In this part, we are making Shi Jing and Chu Ci, whichare the repesentative writing, as the study subjects. Studying the socialbackground and the language environment with the two works.Combining with the results of previous studies on ancient rhyme, andexhaustively analysising the rhyming words that trying to drawing therhyme of consistency in nature. Then prove the two works has the natureof phonetic standard. Through the study of many aspects, this research istrying to enriching the results of the ancient Chinese phonetic standardand providing the historical reference for the process of standardization ofmodern Chinese phonetic.
