The lack of conformational changes in strict sense determines the significance ofChinese functional words and the words’ order. The Preposition is one kind of thefunctional words,but the meaning of preposition is abstract and the use of prepositionis complex. So that leads to the difficulty in the acquisition of Chinese preposition forlearners who take Chinese as their second language. Students from Thailand make alot of errors in the acquisition of the Chinese preposition “WeiLe”, and the errorslast for a long term. So in this study we choose the Chinese preposition “WeiLe” as thesubject, and we did a systematic research about the errors that Thai students make inthe acquisition.This study firstly makes a brief description of the two important theory. Reviewthe current research situation on preposition and “WeiLe” from two perspectives.Then the study analysis the errors and classify the errors into five types:redundancy, blended use,the wrong order, errors in the proposal sentence, others. Andthen analysis the errors from two perspectives.The following part is that concluding the various reasons why the Thai studentsmake so many errors in the acquisition process of the preposition “WeiLe”. FutherPutting forward some effective suggestions of teaching and learning according to thereasons.At last, summing up this study through summarizing the innovation and theproblems not solved yet.
