On The Current Conditions And Enhancement Of The Dignity Of The Chinese People Under Max’s Humanism Thought

Faced with the rapid development of China’s economy contemporarily, Chinese peoplehave become increasingly concerned about their living environment. Chinese people’s dignityhas gradually become one of the issues people most concerned about. Dignity plays a veryimportant and significant role during the development of Chinese people. Thus the study ofChinese people’s dignity in perspective of Max’s humanism thought has become an importantsubject. Nowadays, based on Marx’s humanism thought, this thesis discusses how to provideguidance on the achievement of Chinese people’s dignity and take reasonable measures torealize and improve Chinese people’s dignity.This thesis consists of four chapters:Chapter one aims to introduce dignity theory and its meaning, elaborating thecomponents of human dignity. Firstly, dignity theory is explained from its characteristics andorigin. Secondly, the meaning of it is interpreted form four aspects. Thereby the significanceof dignity theory is established in the human development process.Chapter two mainly explains the definition of humanism thought and the understandingof Marx’s humanism thought, through the study of which the influence of Marx’s humanismthought upon dignity is disclosed.Chapter three mainly analyzes the current status of Chinese people’s dignity. Throughthe interpretation of China’s present economy and the development of the country, it analyzeshow to improve Chinese people’s dignity and solve the problem of realization andimprovement of Chinese people’s dignity.Chapter four discusses the directive function of Marx’s humanism thought towards therealization and improvement of Chinese people’s dignity, explaining that to realize and improve Chinese people’s dignity it requires more than the consciousness of people on dignity.Only under the guidance of Marx’s humanism thought and relying on improving socialinstitutions and legal systems, can ultimately improvement be achieved.Social problems like dignity, values and self-realization have become increasinglyprominent and received much attention. Marx’s understanding of human dignity hasprovided theoretical guidance for our present study of human dignity and directive way tosolve practical problems. A society with advanced economy, rational social system andimproved legal system must be, in perspective of Marx’s humanism thought, a society whereeveryone deserves dignity.
